报告摘要:
Joint models have been an active research area in recent years, such as joint models of longitudinal data and survival data. In this talk, I will review some most recent joint models we have developed, including joint models of different longitudinal processes, joint models of mean and variance processes, and estimating change points in longitudinal data. We focus on nonlinear mixed effects models and likelihood methods for statistical inference. Based on simulation studies, these joint models perform better than separate models in the sense that they show less biased and more efficient statistical inference. We illustrate these models and methods in vaccine data with interesting findings.
